John B. Miller has been a professional singer/keyboard player since 1986. After singing with his father in the church choir from the time he could talk, he began studying piano at age 8. John attended high school at Bishop MacDonnell High School in Guelph, ON., where he played with the school's national-award-winning jazz ensemble under the direction of John McLelland. Under McLelland's expert tutaledge, John's sense and love of music grew, as he produced and performed in the school's annual blockbuster event, Supershow, for 3 years. His education continued at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and Fanshawe College in London, ON, studying Piano and Recording Engineering.

Over his career to date, John has built a reputation as a freelance singer/keyboardist, and has appeared on several other artists' demos and album projects. One such project, Desert Reign, received international airplay for the two singles, "Forever In Your Eyes" and "She's Not Askin' For Much", on which John sang lead and backup vocals. "She's Not Askin' For Much" hit #1 on the European Independent Country Charts. Known for vocal versatility, he is comfortable singing in just about any musical style, from religious Latin hymns and light Opera, to Country, to modern alternative Rock.

John appeared on, and mixed a Christmas album called Gifts, singing a traditional version of the popular carol, O Holy Night, and playing on 2 instrumental cuts with Thom and Joe from Coming Of Age. The project, produced by saxophonist Matt Teeter, allied itself with the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, and sold over 1000 copies in 6 weeks in the Guelph area, and raised several thousand dollars for the charity.

The band Double Exposure gave John his first opportunity to make music for a living starting in early 1986. As a partner in Double Exposure, he contributed to the considerable success of the band in the corporate entertainment arena, performing for clients including ATS, Bacardi, Air Canada, Mercedes-Benz, Labatt, and CPI. The band also spent several summers playing at some of Ontario's finest resort destinations.

John's official association with Double Exposure came to an end in January 2001 with the formation of Coming Of Age with Thom Wolf and Joe Orlando (also from Double Exposure), singer Cheryl Hardy, and guitarist Steve Manning.

John currently resides in Waterloo, ON, where he owns and operates Audiocraft, a professional audio rentals and sales company, specializing in providing technical support for live events.
